A.C. Gilstrap, age 90, of Detroit, AL, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at his son's residence.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery.  Bro. Jason Clifton to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

A.C. was born on May 25, 1933 in Glenn Allen, Alabama to the late Cleo Gilstrap and the late Cora Mae Estes Gilstrap.  He graduated from Brilliant High School.  A.C. was self-employed dealing with scrap metal.  He enjoyed collecting scrap iron and going to yard sales.  He loved his family dearly and his gentle spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed.
