Al White, age 61, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Billy Carl Sullivan to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Al was born on July 31, 1963 in Dothan, AL to the late Albert Rex White, Sr. and the late Laura Thornley White.  He attended Lamar County High School.  Al previously worked at Weyerhaeuser in Millport, AL.  He enjoyed collecting guns, watching Nascar and liked going to mud races.  He also loved being outdoors, especially going fishing or riding his side by side and tending to his cows.  Al attended Oaks Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.  His loving spirit and kind heart will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
