Alean J. Stewart, age 96, of Sulligent, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmore, Amory, MS. Family graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Sulligent City Cemetery in the Gilmore Addition.  Elder Angela Metcalfe to officiate.

Alean was born on January 6, 1924 in Lamar County, AL to the late E.O. Jones and the late Mary M. Smith.  She attended school at Fairview.  Alean previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing, First State Bank and for Ms. Ruth Boyett.  She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and yardwork.
