Augusta L. Davis, age 60, of Sulligent, AL passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Brown Cemetery. Bro. Robert Earl Johnson to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Augusta was born on September 28, 1960 in Gary, Indiana to Racine Edwards Goode and the late Charles Davis.  She leaves to cherish her memory; Mother- Racine Goode, Brother-Richard Goode, Nephew-Richard Allen Goode, Sisters-Michelle (Louis) Newsome, Evette (Barry) Williams, Special Friend & Companion-David Metcalf, Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and her "Fur Baby"- Max.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Davis, Stepfather- George Goode, Brother-David Stewart, Grandmother-Augusta Edwards and Grandfather-Otis Edwards.

Augusta professed Christ at an early age.  She loved cooking and taking care of people.  She served in the Alabama National Guard and worked at various sewing factories, McCoy Manufacturing and Reltoc, in the area throughout her life.  On July 1, 2021 Augusta left this world to be with the Lord.
