Obituary

Austin Lee Carter, age 20, of Houston, MS, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Botters Cemetery in Caledonia, MS.  Bro. Paul Barham to officiate.  Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Austin was born on July 29, 2003 in Lowndes County, MS to Juston Meddleton Carter and the late Christina Lucille Stockman.  He attended schools in Hamilton, MS and Houston, MS.  Austin loved spending time with his friends just hanging out or riding around town.  He also really enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing.  Austin was full of life and his loving memory will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
