Barbara Rhudy Lacy, 75, went to heaven August 29, 2021, at 1:55 in the morning. She was born May 22, 1946, to the late Opal Whitehead Rhudy and Tom Rhudy. She raised 6 kids by herself with the help of too many tree limbs to count for those switchin's. Barbara worked numerous jobs from Detroit Garment to selling Avon to provide for her kids. Most know that her favorite past time was Bingo, and if she didn't answer her phone when you called that's most likely where she was. She also loved auctions and antiques especially old glassware.

Mills to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
She is survived by her children, Ricky (Vicky) Lacy of Caledonia, MS, Melissa (Ricky) Bullock of Amory, MS, Johnny Mack (Melody) Lacy of Hamilton, AL, Bobby (Kelli) Lacy of Winfield, AL, and Greg Lacy of Sulligent. Barbara was a member at Cooper Baptist Church but more importantly she was saved…….are you? Jesus loves you……..
She was preceded in death by her parents Opal and Tom Rhudy, a sister, Betty Crenshaw, brothers, Thomas Rhudy and Billy Joe Rhudy and a daughter, Michelle Hightower.
We ask that instead of flowers that you pay it forward in memory of Barbara and do something nice for a single mother. Buy groceries, fill their tank with gas, buy school supplies, etc. but remember this……….Matthew 6:3 But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
