Betty Fay Markem Keeney, age 87, of Conway, SC, formerly of Beaverton, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Conway Medical Center in Conway, SC. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-win, AL. Rev. David Caldwell to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the service on Saturday from 12:00pm until service time at 2:00pm.

Betty was born on June 9, 1934 in Double Springs, AL to the late William Riley Markem and the late Clara Tittle Markem.  She retired from H.C. Duke & Sons in East Moline, IL.  Betty also obtained her Real Estate License.  She was a member of Beaverton Church of God, but presently attended River of Life Church of God.  She enjoyed flower gardening.
