Billy Wayne Carter, age 73, of Hamilton, AL passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at his residence.  Private family graveside services will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 11:00am in Cooper Cemetery.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.

Billy was born on February 13, 1948 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Melton Carter and the late Marie Hawkins.  He worked in the logging industry.  Billy enjoyed coon and rabbit hunting, fishing, horseback riding and working on motorized vehicles.  He was a member of Cooper Freewill Baptist Church.
