Billy W. Crawford, age 88, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Billy was born on June 4, 1933 in Sulligent, Alabama to the late Ezra "Woods" Crawford and the late Lola Mae Sorrells.  He was a 1951 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Billy retired from the U.S. Air Force. He served as City Clerk in Sulligent, AL, worked at Spruiell Hardware and Spruiell Truss, Lowery Building Supply, and Lamar Democrat.  Billy enjoyed fishing, hunting, beekeeping, and watching his family play sports.
