Billy Joe Allen, age 44, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oktibbeha County in Starkville, MS.  The family will hold a visitation service on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 4:00pm until 5:00pm in the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.

Billy was born on June 28, 1981 in Niles, Michigan to the late Dewey Renon Allen, Sr. and the late Roslyn Ellen Benjamin Allen.  He attended Lamar County Schools.  Billy worked as an electrician for Hattaway Brothers.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially going fishing and hunting and grilling.  He also liked diamond dots, anime, and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He loved his family dearly and his precious memory will forever be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
