Billy Dean Pickle, age 49, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and Firefighter's Final Call to follow in Sizemore Memorial Cemetery.  Bro. Matthew Paul and Bro. Tanner Trentelman to officiate.  Visitation will be held in the Otts Funeral Home Parlor on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Billy was born on June 4, 1974 in Amory, MS to Freddie Pickle and the late Sandra Faye Mosley.  He was a 1992 graduate of Sulligent High School.  Billy was employed with the Lamar County District 2 Commission.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially going fishing and was an avid Alabama Football fan.  He honorably served his community as the Assistant Chief for the Beaverton Fire Department.  He loved spending time with family and friends and his memory will always be cherished.
