Billy Ray Shelly, age 59, of Caledonia, MS, passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Vineyard Court Nursing Center in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. Rev. Willie Gardner to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Billy was born on April 14, 1964 in Mississippi to the late Willie James Shelly and the late Mary Hendrix.  He attended Lamar County schools where thoroughly enjoyed playing football.  Billy loved being outdoors, especially getting to go fishing.  His family will always cherish and greatly miss his loving spirit.
