OBITUARY

Bobbie Joyce Barnes, age 91, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 5:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery.  Bro. B.J. Mills to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 4:00pm until 5:00pm.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Crews Cemetery Fund at 364 Crews Road, Sulligent, AL 35586.

Bobbie was born on March 12, 1932 in Sulligent, AL to the late Robert Donald Hankins and the late Mizie McCormick Hankins.  She attended Sulligent School and worked at a very young age in the fields picking cotton.  Ms. Bobbie formerly worked at Rockford Brass in Rockford, IL and at McCoy Manufacturing and Reltoc Manufacturing.  She enjoyed gardening, but time spent with her family was what she cherished the most.  She was a member of Crews Community Church.  Her loving spirit will be greatly missed.
