Bobby Allen Dykes, age 72, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the residence.  Funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:00pm at Beaverton Freewill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Beaverton City Cemetery. Bro. Howard McNeal and Bro. Rusty Holland to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Honorary Pallbearers are the current and past members of the 877th Engineer Battalion

Bobby was born on January 24, 1953 in Winfield, AL to the late Reu Dykes and the late Annie Waldean Perkins Dykes.  He was known to be a very talented and hard worker.  Bobby was also a very proud member of the Army National Guard, honorably serving for 24 years alongside some wonderful friends. He was an avid Mississippi State Bulldogs football fan and loved to sing, especially in the choir at his church.  His family meant everything to him and cherished spending time with Judy and Kevin and his grandson, Mason. Bobby was a truly good man, good husband and friend, always happy with a smile on his face.  His loving heart and bright spirit will always be remembered and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.  He was a member of Beaverton Freewill Baptist Church.
