Bobby Gene Sandlin, age 81, of Sulligent, AL passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Jerry Oakes to officiate.  Visitation will held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Bobby Gene Sandlin was born on May 30, 1939 in Lamar County, AL to the late Jessie Coy Sandlin and the late Margie Lee Harper Sandlin.  He was a member of Sulligent First Assembly of God and served on the Board for 6 years.  He worked 11 years at the Lamar County Courthouse and 18 years in the oil field.  Bob enjoyed mowing grass, working in his garden, driving his tractor and spending time with his family.
