Campranella "Camp" Prowell, age 57, of Winfield, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at DCH Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Rev. Christopher Wriley to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Camp was born on May 20, 1966 in Columbus, MS to the late Wright Webber, Sr. and the late Essie Mary Prowell.  He was a 1984 graduate of Lee High School in Columbus, MS and later joined the U.S. Army proudly serving his country. Camp was previously employed at T&M Steel Co. in Columbus, MS and 3M in Guin, AL.  He thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing.  He also liked to watch football and cook. Camp attended Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church.
