Cassandra "Cassie" Gilmer Moore was born on March 19, 1958 in Germany to the late Charles Gilmer, Sr. and the late Marcell Byrd. She attended schools in Enterprise Alabama and was a 1976 graduate of Enterprise High School. Cassandra was of the Baptist faith.
