Charles Coy Nolen, age 87, of Sulligent, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Generations of Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. at Crews United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery. Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Monday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at 4:00 P.M.

Charles was born September 3, 1932 in Sulligent, Alabama to the late Ernest and Lena Barker Nolen. He was a member of Crews United Methodist Church. Charles attended Sulligent High School. He owned and operated Nolen Cabinet Shop, and worked for Barbers Milk Company in Birmingham and Hollis Plumbing in Sulligent. Charles enjoyed fishing, camping, and watching westerns.

Pallbearers will be Adam Heath, Kevin Wheeler, Jamie Gilmer, David Coleman, Wesley Woods, Kenneth Crutchfield, Tyler Woods, Chase Harbin, Ryan Harbin, and Noah Wheeler. Honorary pallbearers will be Homer Crutchfield, Billy Rogers, Brayden Wheeler, and Weston Woods.
