Christie Anne Powell, age 47, of Hamilton, AL passed away at DCH in Tuscaloosa, AL on Sunday, July 18, 2021. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 4:00pm in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.

Christie was born on January 31, 1974 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Jerry Powell and the late Margaret Wilson.  She was a graduate of Fayette County High School.  Christie worked as a CNA.  She enjoyed shopping, eating out, listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren.  Christie attended Sulligent First Assembly of God.

Daughter: Venancia Pitts (Larry), Hamilton, AL

Sister: Lola Matthews, Seattle, WA
