Christine "Wynnette " Nethery, age 81, of Hamilton, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sizemore Memorial Cemetery.  Bro. Mitch Nethery to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.

Wynnette was born on January 16, 1943 in Winfield, AL to the late Thomas Clarence Barnes and the late Clistie Roberts Barnes.  She was married to David Grant, "DG" Nethery for 51 years.  Wynnette loved her family dearly and treasured spending time with her grandchildren.  She thoroughly enjoyed bowling and proudly volunteered at Golden Triangle Hospital.  Wynnette had such a strong passion for helping others, and will always be known and lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She was a member of Hamilton Presbyterian Church.
