Clovis Cannon, age 84, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Generations of Vernon in Vernon, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Olive Hill Cemetery.  Bro. Jeremy Sorrells to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm-2:00pm.

Clovis was born on September 24, 1938 in Beaverton, AL to the late Elmer Cannon and the late Berma Hawkins.  He was a graduate of Sulligent High School.  Clovis previously worked in the oil field industry  and owned and operated a backhoe service.   He was a member of the Sulligent Masonic Lodge, having been a Mason for over 50 years.  He enjoyed being outside riding his Rhino, being on his tractor and mowing grass.  When Clovis was younger he loved to go fly fishing.  He was a member of Beaverton Baptist Church.
