Clyde T. Driver, age 82, of Hamilton, AL, formerly of Sulligent, AL, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 2:00pm at Celebration Worship Center in Vernon, AL with burial to follow in the Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Tommy Franks and Bro. James Godsey to officiate.  Visitation will be held at Celebration Worship Center prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Clyde was born on March 23, 1939 in Carrollton, AL to the late Thomas Burton Driver and the late Nona Lewis Driver. He attended Gordo High School. He graduated from the University of Alabama as well as the Law Enforcement Academy. He worked in law enforcement for 35 years. He also was a member of the United States Army. Clyde served in many organizations like the Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rites, and the FOP. He enjoyed working on old cars and trading in his pastime.
