Ms. Connie Jean Nethery Howard, age 62, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Oakes to officiate the services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Connie Jean was born on June 10, 1962, in Berrien Township, Michigan to the late Vance Douglas Nethery and Connie Mead Nethery. She attended schools in Florida and Sulligent. Connie previously worked at McCoy Mfg. She enjoyed gardening and making jewelry. Connie Jean was a very loving giving person. She loved her family and loved doing for others. It brought her great joy to see and help make others happy. She was known for her love, joy, kindness, and compassionate spirit, always putting others before herself. Connie Jean loved the Lord and was recently baptized at the First Assembly of God in Sulligent, AL. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
