David Cantrell, age 79, of Gattman, MS, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Lockhart Cemetery. Bro. Dwight Taylor to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Otts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 923, Sulligent, AL 35586.

David was born on March 27, 1944 in Monroe County, MS to the late Clarence Calman Cantrell and the late Corine Pace Cantrell.  He attended Greenwood Springs Schools.  David previously worked as an auto mechanic.  He enjoyed the outdoors, especially going fishing and hunting.  He was a member of Gattman Baptist Church.
