David Wayne May, age 63, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 2:30pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Crews Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:30pm until 2:30pm.

David was born on August 5, 1963 in Winfield, AL to the late L.C. May and the late Carol Sue Roberts May. He was a graduate of Winfield City High School. David previously worked at Hubbert Farms in Winfield, AL and also was a truck driver. His family meant everything to him and took great pride in them. He especially loved spending time with his precious grandchildren, which he adored. His gentle spirit and truly genuine heart will fondly be remembered and forever cherished by his family and friends.
