Dennis Earl Jones, age 42, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery. Bro. B.J. Mills and Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.

Dennis was born on July 15, 1984 in Vernon, AL to the late Author Earl Jones and the late Linda Taylor Jones. He attended Lamar County High School. Dennis was previously employed with Spruiell Truss Company, Tate Logging, Deer Valley Mobile Homes, Bol-Zoni (Hyster) and also owned/operated Crews Quick Stop. He loved the outdoors, spending as much time as he could hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed going golfing and was known to be an avid gun lover. His family meant everything to him and he loved them all unconditionally. He was full of life and loved the laughter and fellowship of his close friends and family. His humble spirit and kind heart will forever be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
