Dewey R. Allen, Sr., age 70, of Sulligent, AL passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Phillip Blaylock to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Dewey was born on November 2, 1951 in Sarasota, Florida to the late Archie Raymond Allen and the late Geraldean Humphreys.  He was employed as a truck driver.  Dewey loved his grandkids and believed in family.  His wife was the love of his life.  He enjoyed working on cars.
