Doris Easter, age 74, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at Celebration Worship Center with burial to follow in the Celebration Worship Center cemetery.  The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.  Bro. James Godsey to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Doris was born on October 3, 1949 in Vernon, Alabama to the late Grady Otto Price and the late Arrie Genette Collins Price.  She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and later graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL.  Doris previously worked as a seamstress at McCoy Manufacturing for 11 years and as a teacher's aide for around a year at Blossomland Learning Center in Berrien Springs, MI.  She loved her family dearly and always treasured the time she spent with them.  Her kind and loving presence will be greatly missed by all those who loved and knew her. Doris was a member of Celebration Worship Center in Vernon, AL.
