Dorothy V. Hollis, age 91, of Sulligent, AL passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 2:00pm at Turkey Creek Church of God with graveside services and burial to follow in New Church Cemetery.  Pastor James Hollis to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Dorothy was born on June 18, 1931 in Pickens County, AL to the late Sterling Gordon and the late Elizabeth Richardson.  She attended Pickens County schools.  Dorothy enjoyed quilting, working outside, gardening, and especially spending time with her family.  She was a member of Turkey Creek Church of God.
