Dorothy Jean Brown Ingram, age 92, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at her residence.  A private family funeral service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2020 at 1:00pm from Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Raymond Stewart to officiate.

Dorothy was born on September 17, 1927 in Detroit, AL to the late Calvin "Cal" Brown and the late Eula Mae Cargile.  She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and The University of Alabama.  Dorothy was a guidance counselor at area schools.  She loved children and animals.  Dorothy was a member of McElwain Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL.
