Douglas Edward Puckett, age 56, of Sulligent, AL passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Cooper Cemetery.  Bro. Heath Webb and Bro. Bradley Long to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Trinity Youth Camp, 1835 Co. Hwy 3, Guin, AL, 35563.

Doug was born on December 12, 1964 in Amory, MS to Edward Puckett and Patsy Ann Otts.  He was a 1982 graduate of Liberty Christian Academy in Guin, AL and later graduated from Bevill State Community College in Fayette, AL.  Doug attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Mississippi State University in Starkville.  He was employed with PSI in Florence, AL.  Doug was a member of New Centerpoint Freewill Baptist Church.
