Edith Kitchens, age 86, of Winfield, AL, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Sunset Manor in Guin, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 2:00pm at Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Gu-Win, AL with graveside services and burial to follow in the Guin City Cemetery.  Rev. David Beaty to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Edith was born on June 14, 1937 in Guin, AL to the late Clarence Ledlow and the late Kate Knight Ledlow.  She attended Marion County High School and later attended Beauty School in Illinois.  She was a very faithful church member at Abundant Life Fellowship Church, where she also was the church treasurer.  Edith truly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She received such joy whenever she was cooking for her family.  Her beautiful smile and loving spirit will forever be cherished and greatly missed.

The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses, nurse's aides, and personnel at Sunset Manor for all their loving kindness to their precious mother.
