Edward Barnes, age 77, of Gattman, MS, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Kelvin Price to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Edward was born on September 15, 1946 in Lamar County, AL to the late J.B. Barnes and the late Lucile Young Barnes.  He attended Sulligent High School.  Edward previously worked on the cutting table at Glenn Enterprises.  He enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening, hunting, and working with his mules.  He loved his family and cherished the memories of time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
