Ellen Ruth Sizemore, age 87, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.  Burial in the Sizemore Memorial Cemetery in Beaverton, AL.

Ms. Ellen was born on October 19, 1938 in Vernon, AL to the late General Wesley Pitts and the late Louise McDaniel Pitts.  She attended Lamar County High School.  Ellen retired from Reltoc in Beaverton, AL.  She enjoyed gardening, canning, reading, and loved attending her church.  She was a faithful member of Beaverton Methodist Church.  She loved her family dearly and her kind and compassionate heart will always be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
