Eula Mae DuBose, age 86, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 3:00pm at First Freewill Baptist Church in Vernon, AL with graveside services and burial to follow in the Lamar Memory Gardens. Bro. Joe Beckon to officiate. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral services from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.

Eula Mae was born on June 29, 1940 in Lamar County, AL to the late Thomas Murphy Franks and the late Maggie Lawrence Franks. She was a 1958 graduate of Lamar County High School. Eula Mae retired from Chromolox and proudly worked as an EMT for Crossville Fire & Rescue for over 30 dedicated years. She loved her community and faithfully served her church as a Sunday school teacher. She was a wonderful cook, especially known for her chocolate pies. Eula Mae had beautiful spirit, full of life and love for her family which she adored. Her sweet and loving memory will forever be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
