Evelyn Ives Downey, age 90, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on January 15, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmer-Amory in Amory, MS. Burial for Ms. Downey was in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery and no services will be held.

Evelyn was born on April 3, 1931 in Aberdeen, MS to the late Noel Ives and the late Bessie Humphreys. She attended Aberdeen schools and previously worked at MC by MFG and Gattman Sportswear. She enjoyed sewing and spending time in her garden.
