Evelyn Trimm Stone, age 97, of Shelby, AL passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Don Acton to officiate.

Evelyn was born on May 9, 1924 in Sulligent, AL to the late Elsie Trimm and the late Icie White.  She was a graduate of Sulligent High School and the University of Alabama.  Evelyn previously worked for Protective Life Insurance as an accountant.  She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.  Evelyn was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
