Floyd Mack "Bo" Morris, Jr., age 93, of Sulligent, AL passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin and Bro. Steven Sanderson to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 2:00pm.

Bo was born on December 22, 1927 in Sulligent, AL to the late Floyd Mack Morris, Sr. and the late Ruby Cash.  He was a graduate of Sulligent High School.  Bo retired from Reltoc Manufacturing as a supervisor.  He was also a farmer, and worked for Lamar County Commission.  Bo was a previous Sulligent City Councilman, co-founder of the Lamar County Genealogical & Historical Society, and co-owner of Sulligent Drag Strip in the early 60's.  He owned the property of the Sulligent Horse Arena and supported the Sulligent Saddle Club. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.  Bo enjoyed gardening, quail hunting, genealogy and history and loved dogs.  He enjoyed meeting new people and would talk to whoever would listen.  Bo greatly loved his family most of all.  He was a member of Sulligent First Baptist Church.
