Fredrick Marchbanks, age 51, of Detroit, AL passed away on Friday, July 16, 2022, at the residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 12 pm,from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel, with Graveside services to follow from the Glass Cemetery, Sulligent, AL. Bro. Bill Marchbanks to officiate the services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to service from 11am to 12pm.

Fredrick LaMont Marchbanks was born September 14, 1970, in Vernon, AL, to the late Rena Bell Marchbanks. He attended Brighton Elementary School, Brighton, AL, and Bibb County High School of Centerville, AL. He also attended Shelton State Community College and Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama. He attended Stillman College of Tuscaloosa, AL, and AIDB of Talladega, AL. He held Bachelors in Science Degree. He worked for A13 in Tuscaloosa, AL for several years and the broom/mop department of AIDB, Talladega, AL. He was also a member of the Masons and a member of NFB. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
