Geraldine Jones, age 95, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Generations of Vernon, Vernon, AL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Bro. James Godsey to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00pm until service time at 1:00pm.

Ms. Geraldine Mixon Jones was born on June 7, 1930 in Jefferson County Alabama, to the late Abe Franklin Mixon and the late Minnie Lee Robertson. She was a 1948 graduate of Escambia County High School in Atmore, AL. Ms. Jones was a resident of the Mt. Hebron community in Beaverton, AL., since 1978. She was a member of the Celebration Worship Center Church in Crossville, AL. Ms. Jones enjoyed crocheting and was a member of the TOPS group. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
