Grace Myers Rushing, age 85, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024 at 11:00am from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services and burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of Sulligent City Cemetery.  Bro. Dwain Cantrell to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Grace was born on December 23, 1938 in Detroit, AL to the late Robert Lee Myers and the late Llewellyn Grace Knight Myers.  She was a 1956 graduate of Sulligent High School. Grace previously worked for Glenn Enterprises and Reltoc.  She was very involved in her church at Union Ridge Freewill Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and song leader.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting, and being outdoors working in her garden.  Grace loved her beautiful family dearly and her sweet and gentle spirit will always be adored and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
