Haywood Lipsey, age 84, of Guin, AL passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Fayette, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Beaver Creek Cemetery in Guin, AL.  Reverend Christopher Nails to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Haywood was born on July 31, 1935 in Guin, AL to the late Motes Lipsey and the late Ollie Swanigan.  He worked in the coal mines, Winfield Cotton Mill, logging, and Alabama Oak Flooring in Guin, AL.  Haywood was a member of First Baptist Church of Guin.
