Henry Mack Hood, Sr. age 64, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Fayette Medical Center, Fayette, AL. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Jammie Turner and Bro. Brian Reeves to officiate. Visitation will be held in the Otts Funeral Home Parlor on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Henry was born on February 23, 1959 in Lamar Co., AL to the late Harold Mack Hood and the late Lunelle Allen Hood. He attended Lamar County High School. Henry was a retired logger and was most known by his call sign, "Hollywood". He loved woodworking, watching old westerns, dirt track racing and being outdoors fishing any time he could. Henry always lived life to the fullest and cherished any time he got to spend with his kids and his beloved dog. He truly loved his family and will be greatly missed.
