Hershel Robert Linder, age 94, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Fayette Long Term Care in Fayette, AL.  Graveside services and burial will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 12:00pm in the Bellview Cemetery in Springfield, MO.

Hershel was born on December 28, 1931 in Springfield, MO to the late Abraham "Abe" Linder and the late Velma Hall.  He graduated from Central High School in Springfield, MO.  Hershel honorably served in the U.S. Navy.  He was the owner and operator of many rental properties and previously worked as a security for Wells Fargo.  Hershel enjoyed doing Architectural drawings and woodworking.  He loved his family and enjoyed spending all the time with them that he could.  His loving memory will forever be missed and always cherished.
