Ida Mae Shuford Flynn, age 82, of Sulligent, AL passed away Friday, July 31, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 2:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Sandlin Cemetery.  Bro. Jeff Chaffin to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 2:00pm.

Mrs. Flynn was born on May 20, 1938 in Atkinson County, GA to the late Thomas Shuford and the late Linda Perkins. She attended Lamar County High School.  She was a member of Sulligent First Methodist Church.  She was employed for many years at Realtoc, where she met and became lifelong friends with so many wonderful people.  She was owner and operator of Bama Daylily where she grew some of the most beautiful flowers that were enjoyed by people all around.  Her time in her garden was her happy place.  She enjoyed any time outside either with her flowers or her cats.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Sunday dinners.  Her life ambition was to love and take care of her family, which she did with an abundance of commitment, determination and heart.
