Jackie L. Turner, age 59, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the residence.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Gilmer Addition of the Sulligent City Cemetery. Pastor Angela Metcalfe to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until service time at 12:00pm.

Jackie was born on July 8, 1964 in Guin, AL to the late Vernon Turner and the late Annie C. Spearman Turner.  After graduating high school he attended Itawamba Community College in Fulton, MS and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice.  He was an avid football fan, especially University of Michigan and Auburn Tigers. Jackie also enjoyed being outdoors, going hunting, and loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.  He was a member of New Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church.  He loved his family dearly and his tender spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed.
