OBITUARY

James L. "Bo" Marcum, age 69, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.  Bro. Phillip Blaylock to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

James "Bo" Marcum was born on January 30, 1954 in West Virginia to the late Andrew Marcum and the late Helen Vance Marcum.  He attended Harts Creek Grade School and Chapmanville High School in West Virginia.  He enjoyed working on cars and especially loved to teach his grandchildren how to work on them also. He liked to watch TV, and loved cooking for his family.  He truly cherished his family and his sweet and gentle spirit will forever be missed.
