James "Mike" Lyons, age 60, of Sulligent, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 3:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Wofford Cemetery.  Bro. Venlon Bradford and Jacob Sallers to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.

Mike was born on August 8, 1963 in Fayette, AL to the late James Robert Lyons and Shelby Jean Taylor Lyons.  He attended Caledonia High School.  Mike was the owner and operator of his own Rig and hauled for LRS Transport in Belk, AL.  He enjoyed being outdoors and loved riding 4-wheelers and side by sides. He also liked rebuilding cars and trucks. Mike cherished his family and his loving smile will be greatly missed.
