Janet Lee Spann, age 65, of Vernon, AL, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors graveside services and burial to follow in Morton Chapel Cemetery.  Bro. Kelvin Price and Bro. Corey Hall to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 12:00pm until 1:00pm.

Janet was born on January 15, 1960 to the late James Earl Gipson and the late Jeanette Lucille Rubino Gipson.  She honorably served in the AL Army National Guard.  Janet previously worked at Chromalox and Omni.  She liked working puzzles and being outside gardening, but her greatest enjoyment was taking care of her family which she adored.  Her loving heart and beautiful spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed.  Janet attended The Altar Church in Caledonia, MS.
