Janie Marie Sizemore, age 53, of Sulligent, AL passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Pope Cemetery.  Bro. Jason Clifton and Bro. Jeremy Glenn to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

Janie was born on February 25, 1968 in Vernon, AL to the late James L. MacArthur "Mac" Hill and the late Rosa Nell Taylor.  She was a 1986 graduate of Sulligent High School, 1993 Practical Nursing graduate of Bevill State Community College in Fayette, AL, 2003 Registered Nurse AAS graduate of Northwest Shoals Community College in Phil Campbell, AL, and Advanced EMT with the Alabama Fire College.  Janie was an Advanced EMT and President of the North Lamar Rescue Squad and a volunteer firefighter and Captain for the Sulligent Volunteer Fire Department, working for both departments for over 25 years. She was very proud to be a child of God and loved attending Sulligent Community Church.  Janie loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of them.

Madelynn Scott, Mia Scott, and Amelia Cagle
